UNESA PAUD Partners with Kazakhstan University to Strengthen Research and Double Degree Programs
The Early Childhood Education (PAUD) Program at Universitas Negeri Surabaya (UNESA) is proud to announce a new partnership with Abay Myrzakhmetov Kokshetau University (AMKU) in Kazakhstan. This collaboration focuses on research, faculty exchanges, and the development of a double degree program for students, giving them the opportunity to study and earn degrees from both universities.
As part of this collaboration, UNESA PAUD lecturer Wulan Patria Saroinsong participated in a staff mobility program for one semester at AMKU. She shared her expertise in negotiation and conflict resolution from an educational psychology perspective, engaging students in meaningful discussions and practical learning activities.
The partnership also includes joint research projects and curriculum development to enhance the quality of PAUD education. Through the double degree program, students will gain international learning experiences, develop global competencies, and expand their career opportunities in early childhood education.
This international collaboration supports UNESA’s commitment to quality education and global partnerships, aligned with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). By participating in such initiatives, UNESA PAUD contributes to building a stronger, more innovative, and socially responsible education community.
UNESA Rector, Prof. Nurhasan (Cak Hasan), encourages all faculty and students to actively engage in international collaborations. Programs like this not only improve research and teaching but also give PAUD students valuable experiences that prepare them to become competent early childhood educators with a global perspective.
