On January 30, 2026, the Department of International Relations, History, and Social Work at Kokshetau University hosted a special class led by Wulan Patria, a Doctor of Psychology from Indonesia. This visit was part of an international academic mobility program, designed to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and experiences across countries.
The class focused on “Negotiation and Conflict Resolution from a Psychological Perspective,” which garnered significant interest among the students. Wulan Patria specializes in educational psychology, with an emphasis on students’ mental health, making the session both practical and highly relevant for the participants.
During the discussion, Wulan Patria shared her international experiences, including work and visits in Malaysia, South Korea, Germany, and China. Regarding Kazakhstan’s weather, she smiled and mentioned that she enjoys the snow, although the minus 30 degrees Celsius temperatures presented a real challenge. Wearing multiple layers of warm clothing was also a new and unusual experience for her.
Furthermore, Wulan Patria praised the academic atmosphere at the university and the performance of various departments, including International Relations, History, Social Work, Pedagogy and Psychology, and the Academic Mobility Department. She expressed her delight at the warm welcome and the enthusiasm of the students during her visit.
