Surabaya - The Student Association of the Department of Early Childhood Education Teacher Education has held a diagonal webinar (national religious dialogue) with the theme "The meaning of divinity in religious pluralism" which is a work program of the HMJ PG-PAUD religious department. This webinar will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2022 via Zoom meeting and YouTube. This webinar was attended by 260 participants who were active students from various universities in Indonesia by presenting 5 speakers as performers of this event. First Dr. H. Moch. Khoirul Anwar, S.Ag., MEI. As representatives of Islamic religious figures, the two Drs. Rovy Agus Sapto as representatives of Protestant religious figures, the third Kadek Yudi Murdana, M.A.(B.DH). as representatives of Buddhist religious figures, the four Dr. I Nengah Mariasa, M.Hum as representatives of Hindu religious figures, and the fifth Dr. Hariawan Adji, Drs., S.T., M.Kes. as representatives of Catholic religious figures.
The first speaker, Dr. H. Moch. Khoirul Anwar, S.Ag., MEI. As representatives of Islamic religious leaders, he said that Faith in Allah is not only formal but is carried out by presenting Allah in our lives. God is one, doing worship according to beliefs that are practiced and cannot be mixed up, differences are circumcision and a word that can unite religious people, namely Godhead. "For you your religion and for me my religion" (QS. Al-Kafirun Verse 6). So that in carrying out trust can tolerate each other.
The second speaker, Drs. Rovy Agus Sapto as a representative of protestant religious leaders, gave an explanation that God is not only believed but also imagined in the form of implementation. In (Matthew 22:37-38) Jesus answered him, "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart and all thy soul and with all thy mind. That is the first and foremost law". When a person commits to God then he dares to face the risks and challenges of faith. The Indonesian nation is a religious nation from Sabang to Merauke all recognizing the existence of God.
The third speaker, Kadek Yudi Murdana, M.A.(B.DH). as a representative of Buddhist religious figures, in this session conveyed in relation to divinity it is necessary to understand the existence of pluralism inwards and outwards so that there is synchronization between the two. The Book of Udana VIII Verse 3 "... There is nothing Born, The Uncarnate, The Uncreated, the Absolute (Unconditioned)...." As hard as practicing in the day to day, when encountering something that is not good, the mind can still "leak" (behave badly). The path to reaching the godhead is to be aware of the existence of the main and supporting "plays" that reside within us. Through knowledge or wisdom become a booster in behaving well.
The fourth speaker, Dr. I Nengah Mariasa, M.Hum. as a representative of Hindu religious leaders conveyed the passion for the meaning of "Tattwa, Susila, Acara" used as a basis for carrying out activities in a religious pluralism society in Indonesia. "Tan Hana Dharma Mangrwa", in the concept of divinity, the truth is one, the one true Godhead. Man attains godliness by learning to purify himself, to cleanse himself, to learn to enclose himself in something one (God). Seeking the truth of the essence is not easy, if there are many truths then it is still in the context of humanity because human beings are different. The concept of "Godly life" can be seen as a person beating a gamelan whose various types of tools are united to achieve something.
The fifth speaker, Dr. Hariawan Adji, Drs., S.T., M.Kes. as a representative of catholic religious figures conveyed the diversity of the population in Indonesia, the history of government recognition of official religion. The Indonesian catholic church has a motto, namely "100 percent catholic and 100 percent Indonesian" which means that catholics do not leave Indonesia and their passion is rooted in culture and conditions in Indonesia. Since time immemorial, Indonesia has practiced divinity in its own way. The term "God" in pancasila has a purpose because Pancasila belongs to the commons.
The delivery of the five materials went smoothly. With this webinar, it is hoped that all elements of society, especially students as the younger generation, can understand the meaning of Divinity in religious pluralism. So that it can prevent national radicalism that can break the unity of Indonesia.
