Unesa SummerCamp: International Student Gathering from Various Countries
Unesa SummerCamp is an annual event
held by Surabaya State University (Unesa) that aims to bring together students
from various parts of the world. This year's event was attended by
international students from Kazakhstan, China, the Philippines, and Pakistan.
The main objectives of this event are to broaden horizons, develop skills, and
facilitate meaningful cultural exchanges between students from different
countries. During the event, participants took part in various activities such
as seminars, workshops, and panel discussions on global issues and academic and
social skills development. In addition, they also had the opportunity to
collaborate on group projects, solve challenges together, and exchange
experiences with students from different cultural backgrounds.
One of the highlights of this event
was the opportunity for participants to get to know each other's cultures
through tradition-sharing sessions and social activities. They were also
invited to explore the city of Surabaya and interact directly with the local
community, providing an in-depth experience of Indonesian culture. With the
participation of international students, Unesa SummerCamp has become a platform
that introduces cultural diversity and the importance of cross-border
cooperation. This experience provides participants with the opportunity to
build strong international networks and enrich their knowledge, which will be
useful in their future academic and career journeys.
