Unesa-ITS Collaboration: Realizing Ideal Daycare Through Labschool Study Visit
On July 17, 2025, the Labschool Unesa Daycare hosted a significant comparative study visit from the Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS), including representatives from the ITS Dharma Wanita Persatuan. The primary goal of this visit was to gather information and directly observe the management and operations of the Labschool Unesa Daycare, hoping it would serve as a valuable inspiration and reference for ITS's plans to establish a similar daycare facility.
The presence of the Rector of Unesa at the event, accompanied by the Dharma Wanita Persatuan of Unesa—which oversees Labschool—demonstrated the university's strong commitment to developing supporting facilities for its academic community. This also underscored the important role of daycares within a higher education environment.
During the presentation session, Dr. Kartika Rinakit Adhe, S.Pd., M.Pd., comprehensively explained various aspects of daycare management, ranging from curriculum and facilities to daily operational mechanisms. This detailed explanation was extremely helpful for the ITS delegation in understanding Labschool Unesa's successful model.
This visit is expected to be not only an occasion for knowledge exchange but also to strengthen collaboration between the two educational institutions. By doing so, ITS can adopt best practices from Labschool Unesa to create a high-quality daycare, ensuring the well-being and convenience of their staff and students in the future.
