On Saturday, April 25, 2026, student representatives from Batch 1, Group 24 of the DPS Pijar Unit conducted the second learning session at the DPS Unit Foundation. The activity was carried out smoothly, enjoyably, and enthusiastically with students from Grades 1 to 6. The learning materials were tailored to each grade level to ensure that students could understand the lessons more easily through interactive and engaging methods.
For Grade 1, students participated in creative activities by making paper-woven shirts using colorful paper and arranging red and yellow paper pieces to match pictures of bananas and apples. The children showed great enthusiasm while choosing colors and attaching paper pieces according to the shapes provided.
In Grade 2, the volunteers taught Mathematics, focusing on addition and multiplication. The lessons were delivered in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere to help students better understand basic arithmetic concepts.
For Grades 3 and 4, the learning activities focused on English. Students practiced reading the alphabet with correct pronunciation and then worked together to read and repeat simple words. They were also introduced to vocabulary related to fruits and everyday objects as a basic introduction to English in daily life. The students appeared active and confident while practicing the new vocabulary.
In Grade 5, the volunteers organized a creative activity in which students created a collage of R.A. Kartini using colorful origami paper pieces. Inspired by the vibrant wall decorations at the foundation, this activity not only introduced students to the figure of Kartini but also helped develop their creativity, attention to detail, and fine motor skills.
Meanwhile, Grade 6 students received English lessons on self-introduction as well as Mathematics lessons covering addition problem-solving and percentages. The learning process was conducted interactively, encouraging students to participate actively, answer questions confidently, and practice the material they had learned.
Overall, the second learning session was conducted successfully and received positive responses from the students. The activities provided meaningful learning experiences while fostering creativity, confidence, and academic development. This report is prepared as official documentation of the learning activities carried out by Batch 1, Group 24 at the DPS Pijar Unit Foundation. We sincerely appreciate all support and cooperation that contributed to the success of this program.
