Learning Activities Report – Third Meeting of Batch 1 Group 24 at DPS Foundation
On the third meeting of the educational service program, learning activities were conducted across all grade levels and were carried out in an active, interactive, and engaging manner. The program aimed to enhance students’ academic skills while fostering creativity, communication, and critical thinking through enjoyable learning experiences tailored to each grade level.
For Grade 1, students participated in a creative activity by assembling a human face using paper materials. This activity was designed to stimulate creativity and develop fine motor skills. In addition, students received basic mathematics instruction through simple addition exercises to strengthen their early numeracy skills. The learning process was highly enjoyable, as students were able to learn while playing and expressing their creativity.
In Grade 2, the lesson focused on introducing English verbs commonly used in daily life. Students learned simple action words such as eat, sleep, study, and play. Through communicative and interactive teaching methods, students were able to understand the meanings of these verbs and practice using them in simple sentences. The activities encouraged active participation and helped students build confidence in using English.
Meanwhile, Grade 3 and Grade 4 students engaged in English lessons centered on identifying objects commonly found in the classroom. Vocabulary such as table, chair, book, and board was introduced, and students were asked to match pictures with the corresponding English words. Alongside language learning, students also completed addition exercises to improve their basic numeracy skills. Furthermore, they practiced creating simple self-introduction sentences in English, helping to strengthen their communication abilities and self-confidence.
For Grade 5, the learning activities focused on two main topics: the English alphabet (ABC) and daily activities. Students reviewed the sequence of alphabet letters while practicing correct pronunciation. They were then introduced to vocabulary related to everyday routines, such as take a bath, have breakfast, study, play, and sleep. Through discussions and simple sentence-building exercises, students improved their understanding of vocabulary and their ability to describe daily activities in English.
In Grade 6, the learning session was primarily devoted to completing practice exercises in preparation for the Academic Competency Test (TKA). Students worked on various questions covering previously learned materials. This activity was intended to reinforce their understanding of key concepts, improve accuracy in answering questions, and build academic readiness and confidence before taking the examination.
Overall, the learning activities were conducted successfully and received enthusiastic participation from all students. Through a combination of creative projects, language learning, mathematics practice, and academic preparation, the program provided meaningful educational experiences while supporting students’ cognitive, language, and social development.
