S1 PG-PAUD UNESA Collaborates with the Directorate of Early Childhood Education to Support the 2025 PAUD Revitalization Program
The Undergraduate Program of Early Childhood Education (S1 PG-PAUD) at Universitas Negeri Surabaya has strengthened its commitment to improving the quality of early childhood education through a strategic partnership with the Directorate of Early Childhood Education under the Directorate General of Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, and Secondary Education. The cooperation was officially established on 21 July 2025 through an Implementation Arrangement signed by both institutions. This collaboration focuses on supporting the implementation of the 2025 PAUD Revitalization Program. The initiative reflects a shared commitment to enhancing educational quality and strengthening early childhood education services across Indonesia. Through this partnership, both institutions aim to contribute to sustainable improvements in educational practice and management.
The agreement serves as a follow-up to a Memorandum of Understanding between Universitas Negeri Surabaya and the Directorate of Early Childhood Education. Both parties agreed to work together in implementing programs aligned with their respective missions and objectives. The collaboration provides a framework for coordinated efforts in supporting educational development initiatives. Through joint activities, the partnership seeks to maximize the impact of the 2025 PAUD Revitalization Program. This cooperation demonstrates the importance of collaboration between higher education institutions and government agencies in advancing educational quality.
One of the key components of the partnership is supporting the preparation and management of resources required for the implementation of the revitalization program. S1 PG-PAUD UNESA has been entrusted with assisting the Directorate of Early Childhood Education in preparing resources and ensuring effective program implementation. The study program will also contribute to monitoring activities and reporting processes related to the program. These responsibilities are intended to ensure that the revitalization initiative is implemented efficiently and effectively. Through active participation, the university can contribute its academic expertise to national educational development efforts.
The collaboration also emphasizes the importance of monitoring and evaluation as essential components of educational improvement. By participating in monitoring activities, S1 PG-PAUD UNESA will help assess program implementation and identify areas for enhancement. The collection and analysis of program data will provide valuable insights into the effectiveness of revitalization efforts. Such evidence-based approaches support informed decision-making and continuous improvement. As a result, the partnership contributes not only to program implementation but also to the generation of knowledge that can strengthen future educational initiatives.
The implementation of the partnership is coordinated by Dr. Kartika Rinakit Adhe, S.Pd., M.Pd., Coordinator of the S1 PG-PAUD Study Program at the Faculty of Education, Universitas Negeri Surabaya. Her involvement ensures effective coordination between the university and the Directorate of Early Childhood Education. The collaboration highlights the important role of academic leadership in supporting national educational programs. It also demonstrates how universities can actively contribute to educational transformation through expertise and professional engagement. Such cooperation creates opportunities for knowledge sharing and capacity building among educational stakeholders.
According to the agreement, the collaboration is valid for one year and may be reviewed and renewed based on mutual agreement. During this period, both institutions will work closely to achieve the objectives of the 2025 PAUD Revitalization Program. Regular communication, monitoring, and evaluation activities will be conducted to ensure successful implementation. The partnership reflects the shared commitment of both institutions to strengthening early childhood education services throughout Indonesia. Through this strategic collaboration, S1 PG-PAUD UNESA continues to expand its contribution to educational innovation, quality improvement, and national development in the field of early childhood education.
