The Early Childhood Education (ECE) Study Program of Universitas Negeri Surabaya (UNESA) conducted a Teaching Practitioner activity as part of the Early Childhood Education Management course. This activity aimed to provide students with insights into management practices within early childhood education institutions.
The Teaching Practitioner session featured Sus Indraawati, an Early Childhood Education teacher at TK At Taqwa Surabaya, as the guest speaker. The practitioner shared experiences related to planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating early childhood education programs.
During the activity, students learned about managerial responsibilities in early childhood education, including human resource management, program development, and quality assurance. The speaker emphasized the importance of effective management in supporting sustainable and high-quality educational services.
Through this Teaching Practitioner activity, students were able to understand the role of management in improving institutional performance and learning outcomes. The session encouraged students to view management as a critical competency for future educators.
The activity is expected to enhance students’ professional readiness and prepare them to contribute positively to early childhood education institutions.
