Enhancing English Skills and Promoting Anti-Bullying Awareness Through Interactive Learning
On Thursday, May 21, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., Group 50 from the Dharma Putra Swadaya Foundation conducted a learning and advocacy activity for junior high school students. The activity began with a collective prayer as an opening and a hope that the entire program would run smoothly and successfully.
The academic session focused on English learning materials, including the Simple Present Tense, Simple Past Tense, creating short dialogues, and completing sentences. The learning process was designed to be interactive through the use of flashcard games, enabling students to understand the material more easily while encouraging active participation throughout the lesson.
In addition to academic instruction, the group also conducted an advocacy session on anti-bullying awareness. This session aimed to increase students’ understanding of the importance of respecting others, maintaining positive behavior, and creating a safe, supportive, and comfortable environment for everyone. The discussion encouraged students to reflect on their actions and understand the impact bullying can have on others.
The activity concluded with a closing session and a collective prayer. Overall, the program was carried out successfully, and the students participated enthusiastically in all activities. Through this learning and advocacy program, students not only improved their English language skills but also gained valuable insights into fostering respectful and inclusive relationships within their school community.
